Sony Ericsson Black Diamond
Do you remember Nokias’s Vertu? As Nokia calls it , ” the world’s most exclusive personal communication instrument. More than a mobile telephone, it fuses the best in craftsmanship, precision engineering, proven technology, high performance and a unique personal service, into one groundbreaking invention appealing to the most discerning customer. Vertu is a modern classic that is a personal possession to be treasured.”
Well now Sony Ericsson has something to say about that.
Sony Ericsson’s Singaporean industrial designer Jaren Goh whipped up a new concept called the Black Diamond a few months ago. Other than the 4.0 megapixel camera, nothing much was known about it. But now, VIPN is commissioning five of these cell phones with Windows Mobile 5.0.
The Black Diamond will contain a 400MHz XScale PXA225 400MHz processor, SIP support, and WiFi. Don’t forget the polycarbonate layer and the OLED borderless screen. With all these features, what do you think it will cost you? I would guess around $1,000, or maybe $2,000. But actually, it has a $300,000 price tag on it considering there are only 5 of them.
All we can do now is wait and see which one is better, The Vertu or The Black Diamond.
